The field of Psychology is an exciting area that touches many aspects of our lives! Let’s begin with a scientific definition:
Psychology is: ”The scientific study of Behaviour and Mental Processes”. It is concerned with ‘who each of us is’ and how ‘we came to be the way we are’.
It deals with the nature of human experience and behavior and addresses topics that have intrigued humanity for ages by:
- Asking Essential questions; like, what do humans have in common? What sets us apart? And what distinguishes us from other species?
- Reflecting upon Deep philosophical issues like the nature of consciousness, Morality, Personality, and so on…
