Since the very day, I started the @BigIdeasGrowingMinds YouTube Channel, it has been my stated goal to reach 1 million Subscribers!! Closing in on 30,000 SUBs as this post is going live, so I still have a long way to go, but I will keep working on it, and hopefully, one day, I will get there 🤞
This week I read a book that can help me accelerate the process; ‘One Million Followers’ by Brendan Kane. The book has the subtitle ‘How I Built a Massive Social Following in 30 Days’ and is, in its essence, a roadmap for scaling an enormous audience on social media in the shortest time possible.
The key point is that to be successful online; you must produce high-quality content, test to see if it resonates with the audience, and then either stick with it or course correct as needed! Kane suggests adopting this mantra: Hypothesize, Test, Pivot!
- Hypothesize — Build Experiments.
- Test — Validate and Learn.
- Pivot — Stick with it or change your tactic.
