Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh

Today’s Big Idea comes from world-renowned entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Tony Hsieh. Tony Hsieh sold his first company, LinkExchange, to Microsoft for over $250 million at the age of 23, and then went on to invest in Zappos – one of the world’s leading online shoe and clothing retailers. In today’s video, we will focus on his inspiring book ‘Delivering Happiness’.

The book has the subtitle ‘A Path to Profits, Passion and Purpose’ and gives the reader a unique insight into the core concepts of Zappos’s success formula.

Furthermore, the book tells the fascinating life story of Tony Hsieh. A story of determination and hard work, about finding passion and purpose and about realizing that experiences are more important than accumulating wealth. **Update on Nov 2020 Tony Hsieh sadly lost his life in a fire. Honored be his memory!
