The Speed Of Trust By Stephen Covey

This week I read the classic book by Stephen Covey ‘The Speed of Trust’. In the book we learn that Trust is: ‘The one thing that changes everything’.

See, people want to be trusted. They respond to trust. They thrive on trust. And according to Covey trust is not some soft, illusive quality you either have or don’t have! Rather, trust is a pragmatic, tangible, actionable asset that you can create – much faster than you think possible!

According to Covey, we build trust by seeing, speaking, and behaving in ways that established trust. And the key to doing this is to understand and navigate what he calls the five waves of trust.

Together these five waves of trust serve as a metaphor for how trust operates in our lives! It begins with each of us personally, continues into our relationships, expands into our organizations, extends into our marketplace relationships, and encompasses our global society at large.

If you are curios and want to learn more, I can only recommend reading the book! And should you find yourself too busy to read the whole book I can only encourage that you check out our animated summary on our YouTube Channel.

Leadership Development

Conscious Leadership By Mike Handcock

As modern citizens of the world, we need to understand that we control our environment – not the other way around!  We may not be able to control what the President does or who throws an empty can on the ground a thousand miles away, but we can control how we show up every day, what we say, what we do, where we do it, how we go about it, and what influences us.

This week I read an invigorating book by Mike Handcock. It’s called Conscious Leadership and it aims to equip the reader to thrive in the new world by focusing on three things: Prosperity, Freedom & Purpose. It features a series of reflections and golden nuggets on Energy, Life, and the universe and offers a new way of viewing ourselves and our possibilities in the modern world.

:” Conscious Leadership is not just a heartless quest for more profit, more market, more customers. Conscious Leadership is having the awareness of what the end result of all these things are.”

If you click link below you can watch our animated summary of the book. We hope you will enjoy it, that it will inspire you, help you Grow your Mind, and Motivate You to be The Best You!

Change Management, Effectiveness, Personal Development

The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

Today’s big idea comes from Darren Hardy and his brilliant and highly motivating book, ‘The Compound Effect’.! Through personal anecdotes and insight from his business experience, Hardy uses a casual and talkative style to illustrate how small incremental changes can lead to great success both in business and life.

As always, we highly recommend reading the whole book. You can buy it by clicking our affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3apgbkJ

The book takes its starting point in Hardy’s childhood. He shares how he was raised by a single father, who taught him the importance of strict discipline and hard work!

Like his father always said: “If your competitor is smarter, more talented, more experienced, you just need to work 3- 4 times as hard, and you can still beat him no matter what the challenge is.

Hardy emphasizes how this upbringing helped him achieve remarkable success early in life and names the formula to his success “The Compound Effect”. In its essence, ‘The Compound effect’ underlines that things don’t change overnight but through consistent steps towards achieving your goals.  All in all, it comes down to this: Small choices plus consistency plus time equals radical changes.

We hope you will enjoy the video! If you do please remember to give it ‘a like’ and to share it with your network and on your social media.
